Job Title: Clinical Review Nurse

Job Summary:
Elite PC Services is seeking a skilled Clinical Review Nurse to join our team. As a Clinical Review Nurse, you will play a critical role in reviewing Workers Compensation requests to determine medical necessity. Your expertise will be utilized to analyze medical data, apply evidence-based guidelines, and make certification decisions. This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a dedicated nurse who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform thorough evaluations of medical data for utilization review requests
Confirm accurate completion of data intake
Collect additional relevant data as needed to determine medical necessity
Analyze collected data to apply evidence-based guidelines
Make certification decisions or prepare cases for peer review referral
Coordinate information between all parties, including injured workers, physicians, employers, and attorneys
Participate in audits to ensure compliance
Monitor daily processing inventory and provide inventory information to the clinical director
Complete production logging and assist the leadership team with training and coordinating back-up resources

Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Valid current RN license in good standing
Ability to perform the professional and technical skills of a Registered Nurse
Minimum 2 years of direct patient care experience
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to read and interpret medical reports and treatment guidelines
Strong personal organizational skills and ability to maintain confidentiality
Intermediate computer skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Ability to work in a fast-paced and time-sensitive environment and meet deadlines in a production-driven environment
Proficiency in WORD and EXCEL documents

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in Utilization Review and Workers Compensation is a plus
