Job Summary:

Lennar Homes is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Loan Originator to join our team. As a Loan Originator, you will be responsible for originating and processing mortgage loans for our customers. This is a critical role that requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development and Customer Relations:
    • Develop and implement strategies to generate leads and grow our customer base.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, real estate agents, and other industry professionals.
    • Conduct regular market analysis and stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments.
  • Loan Origination and Advisory:
    • Originate and process mortgage loans from application to closing.
    • Provide expert advice and guidance to customers on mortgage products and options.
    • Work closely with underwriters and other stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate loan processing.
  • Sales Support, Metrics, and Reporting:
    • Provide sales support and guidance to our sales team.
    • Track and analyze sales metrics and provide regular reports to management.
    • Identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to increase sales and revenue.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. finance, business, etc.).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in mortgage origination or a related field.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • NMLS license and state-specific licenses (if required).
  • Fluent in Spanish (spoken and written) is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficient in using standard office software (e.g. Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Proficient in using mortgage industry software and tools.
