About the Role

As a Staff Development Coordinator, you will design, implement, and oversee training programs for our team. You will empower our staff to provide high-quality care and achieve clinical program objectives aligned with our mission.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Training Program Design: Develop, coordinate, and deliver orientation and ongoing training programs that ensure the delivery of exceptional care to our residents.
  2. Curriculum Development: Assess training needs, develop curriculum, and implement educational strategies.
  3. Collaboration: Collaborate with department heads to ensure training aligns with regulatory requirements and best practices.
  4. Mentoring and Coaching: Provide mentoring, coaching, and support to staff to enhance their skills and performance.
  5. New Hire Orientation: Coordinate orientation of all new employees to ensure a successful new-hire start and regulatory compliance.
  6. Evaluation and Improvement: Evaluate training effectiveness and make recommendations for improvements. Maintain accurate records of training activities and staff certifications.
  7. Continuous Improvement: Drive a culture of continuous improvement and innovation in nursing care.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have a valid State of CT Nursing license, an advanced degree or certification, and experience in a nursing leadership role in a Long-Term Care setting.

You should also have knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices in staff education and development, a commitment to resident-centered care and excellence in healthcare delivery, and inspirational leadership skills.

We pay $22-$30 per hour, depending on experience, and offer weekly pay. Estimated salary range is $45,600 - $62,400 per year.
