Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at Nuclear Fuel Services. As a key member of our subcontract management team, you will be responsible for providing engineering support to suppliers in the fabrication of subcontracted parts and assemblies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure compliance with technical and administrative requirements.
  • Participate in supplier audits and surveillance of key operations at supplier facilities.
  • Support the development of compliant products and manage the assignment and inventory of free-issued material and other assets.
  • Evaluate and support the disposition of discrepant material.
  • Review supplier-generated procedures and certifications for compliance and perform electronic system transactions in SAP and other business systems.
  • Develop Bills of Material and participate in materials selection and drawing development exercises for new projects.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering degrees are preferred.
  • Two or more years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
  • Ability to travel to supplier sites and participate in on-the-job training.
  • Strong attention to detail, effective use of electronic systems and applications, and ability to work under remote supervision.
