OBJECTIVE:
Under the guidance of the Pharmacist or Nurse Director, the Pharmacy Assistant is responsible for ensuring the clinic's medication storage area is maintained in accordance with state pharmacy regulations. This role involves handling sensitive patient information, necessitating a commitment to confidentiality and ethical standards.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
Educational Background: Completion of high school or equivalent.
Professional Experience: A minimum of 2 years in a pharmacy or healthcare environment.
Required Certifications: Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (to be acquired within 3 months of employment).
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Completion of a Tuberculin Skin Test (TST).
- CPR/BLS certification to be obtained within 3 months of employment.
- Willingness to travel to various locations as needed.
