Kings River Packing, LP is an 8th generation family-owned grower-packer-shipper that plays a crucial role in the citrus industry. We grow and market citrus across domestic and international markets, with plans for growth that prioritize excellence and integrity.

Our accounting department is seeking a skilled Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team. This individual will work closely with the Sales Department and Grower Accountants to collect revenue and resolve trouble files in a timely fashion.

Responsibilities
  • Resolve trouble files and assist in pool closings to ensure smooth financial operations.
  • Review accounts receivable aging reports to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collect and process payments, contacting customers via phone and email as needed.
  • Daily invoicing and cash receipt entries are essential to maintaining accurate financial records.
  • Review and resolve purchase matching issues to prevent errors.
  • Create and follow up on carrier claims to minimize delays.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer transactions.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of work experience in a related field.
  • Associate's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred; equivalent work experience considered.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills are essential for success in this role.
  • Proficiency with Famous software preferred, but Microsoft applications (Excel, Outlook, Word) are also required.

  • A team-oriented, service-focused attitude is necessary for collaboration and effective communication.
  • Flexibility in duties and assignments is expected, with occasional overtime as needed.
