RPG Programmer Job Description

We are seeking an experienced RPG Programmer to join our team at Programmers.io.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, test, debug, and modify programs in RPGLE/ILE RPG, RPG FREE, CL/CLP/CLLE languages.
  • Work with legacy code written in RPG, RPG II, RPG III and flat files.
  • Develop interactive, batch, and module programs on Series.
  • Collaborate with the team to design and implement new features and improvements.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience as an iSeries Programmer Analyst.
  • Experience with IBM power technologies and AS400 environments.
  • Knowledge of DDS, SEU, SDA, PDM, subfiles, data structures.
  • SQLRPGLE, embedded SQL, DB2/SQL, STRSQL, preferred.
