Job Responsibilities
In this role as a Data Center Infrastructure Specialist, Critical Facilities Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, constructing, and maintaining our data centers. Your strong engineering judgment and ability to provide recommendations despite uncertainty/ambiguity will be valuable assets to our team. You will interact with different teams responsible for all aspects of the data centers, prioritizing tasks to support data center capacity availability and safety, focusing on actions that are most impactful. Your daily activities will also include troubleshooting, conducting Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and creating Corrective Action (CA) documentation for site/equipment failures. Additionally, you will develop innovative solutions for AWS's data centers and work on concurrent projects, sometimes in multiple geographical regions.
