Join Our Team as a Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Maplewood at Twinsburg LLC. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, promoting their physical and emotional well-being, and supporting their independence.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Provide direct care and services to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Teach and counsel residents on health promotion and wellness
  • Participate in assessments and develop care plans under the supervision of the Resident Services Director (RN)
  • Support residents and their families, providing emotional support and guidance
  • Oversight of Certified Nursing Assistants and training of associates
  • Completing monthly in-service training as required
Requirements:
  • Licensed Practical Nurse currently licensed to practice in the State
  • Two years full-time or full-time equivalent clinical experience
  • Experience and/or special interest working with older adults
  • Able to perform tasks that may be physically demanding, such as pushing, bending, and lifting up to 50lbs
  • Ability to maintain positive working relationships with residents, their families, peers, and other staff members
  • In good physical and emotional health and free of communicable diseases
