Job Title: Travel MRI Technologist

Focus Staff is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Travel MRI Technologist to join our team. As a Travel MRI Technologist, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of patients and healthcare professionals in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a qualified MRI Technologist to work on a travel assignment in Plymouth, Massachusetts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in magnetic resonance imaging and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' bodies for diagnostic purposes.
  • Conduct patient interviews to explain procedures and address concerns, demonstrating a high level of tact, courtesy, and poise.
  • Ensure patient and staff safety by explaining safety protocols, requesting removal of hazardous metal objects, and monitoring patients via closed-circuit TV.
  • Orient new hires and train MRI Technologists, students, and trainees.
Requirements:
  • Two years of continuous experience as a MRI Technologist, with proficiency in all duties required of a MRI Technologist II.
  • License in the required state.
  • BLS certification.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to present information in one-on-one and small group settings.
