Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Technology and Information Architect to join our team at the University of New Mexico - Hospitals. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing technology oversight and leadership in the development of Health System Information Technology programs, systems, and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a technology plan that aligns with the Health System's strategic initiatives and mission.
  • Lead the development of an IT and infrastructure strategy that is integrated and aligned at the Health System level.
  • Research, resource, and develop IT programs that meet organizational needs.
  • Provide organization-wide leadership in the development and operation of integrated information services.
  • Collaborate with senior management and key end-users to identify and prioritize IT initiatives.
  • Oversee and conduct special IT-related projects.
  • Assist with the development of policies and standards to ensure data integrity, security, and shared use.
  • Ensure systems operate according to internal standards, external accrediting agency standards, and legal requirements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
  • 5 years of directly related experience.
Working Conditions

This position is sedentary, with occasional walking or standing. The work environment is office-based with minimal hazards and physical risks.
