Epic Travel Staffing is seeking a skilled travel nurse RN to join our team in Washington, District of Columbia.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced travel nurse RN to work in our Pediatric CVICU unit. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pediatric critical care and be able to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to pediatric patients in the CVICU unit
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients to identify their needs and develop effective care plans
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Monitor patients' conditions and report any changes or concerns to the team
Requirements:
  • DC License
  • 2 years of recent experience in CVPICU, with a strong background in pediatric critical care
  • BCLS and PALS certifications
  • Ability to work variable shifts, including nights and weekends
  • Flexibility to float to other critical care units as needed
