Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Pre-Owned Inventory Appraiser to join our team at Hendrick BMW Northlake. As a key member of our inventory management team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our dealership has a desirable mix of new and used vehicles available to customers while maintaining depreciation and floor plan costs at reasonable levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately record and maintain vehicle inventory records
  • Conduct physical inventory counts of vehicles on hand
  • Monitor and report on vehicle sales and inventory levels
  • Order vehicles of desired make, model, and color
  • Process paperwork in a timely and efficient manner
  • Report retail deliveries to the manufacturer
  • Provide regular updates to management on inventory status and issues
  • Maintain CSI at or above Company standards
  • Ensure a clean and organized work area
  • Participate in required training and development programs
  • Record all hours worked accurately in the company timekeeping system
  • Comply with all safety rules and regulations

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of inventory management principles and practices. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and a degree in a related field such as business or automotive is preferred. You will also need to have excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

A valid driver's license is required, and experience with dealership management systems and web-based applications is a plus. You will also need to have intermediate skills in Microsoft Office products and the ability to learn new software quickly.

Work Environment:

This is a full-time position that requires regular and predictable attendance. Scheduled shifts may include evening hours, weekends, and holidays. You will be working in a fast-paced environment with continual contact and interaction with dealership personnel.

Physical Demands:

This role requires standing, walking, and sitting for extended periods. You will also need to be able to lift and move objects up to 25 pounds.
