Job Overview

As a key member of the West Shore team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the community's facilities are well-maintained and residents have a great living experience. Your primary responsibilities include completing apartment make-readies, performing general maintenance, pool care, and responding to service requests.

**About the Role**
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for completing various tasks, including:

Apartment Turnovers & Make-Readies:
* Prepare apartments for new residents by conducting repairs, painting, and ensuring each unit meets high standards before move-in.
* Inspect and troubleshoot issues such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliances, repairing as needed.

General Maintenance & Work Orders:
* Respond promptly to resident requests for maintenance, ensuring issues are resolved efficiently and professionally.
* Perform routine preventive maintenance tasks to maintain the community's facilities, including landscaping, lighting, and other areas.

**Requirements:**
To be considered for this role, you must have:
* High school diploma or GED equivalent.
* 1+ years of experience in maintenance, specifically within multifamily properties preferred.
* Proficiency in general maintenance, including plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and appliance repair.
* Pool certification (CPO) preferred or willingness to obtain.
* Strong organizational and time-management skills.
* Excellent customer service and communication skills.

**Estimated Salary:** $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
