With offices strategically located in different regions, we maintain a robust network of skilled Local Coordinators who provide essential program services to international participants, U.S. host families, educational institutions, and community organizations.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a collaborative and motivated individual to join our team as a Program Assistant. This role offers the opportunity for professional growth within our expanding organization, including competitive annual raises and potential promotions to managerial positions.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Program Assistant, your primary duties will include:
- Collaborating with the Program Manager on short-term operational tasks.
- Managing documentation and compiling reports related to program activities and participants.
- Assisting with logistical arrangements for both domestic and international travel related to participant events.
- Accompanying participants during program activities, including educational field trips.
- Providing support and supervision to participants, especially in emergency situations.
- Monitoring deadlines to ensure timely completion of program operations.
- Upholding and enforcing organizational policies and guidelines.
- Working closely with management to develop and refine program-specific materials, including promotional content and operational documents.
- Engaging with various stakeholders, including local staff, partners, host families, and participants.
- Representing the organization to partners and participants as needed.
- Collaborating with partners to ensure effective program implementation.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A bachelor's degree with a minimum of one year of experience in an office setting.
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- A self-motivated, team-oriented attitude with a desire to grow professionally.
- A resilient nature capable of working under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A positive demeanor, flexibility, and a willingness to accept guidance.
- Preferred international experience and experience working with youth or high school students.
