We are seeking an experienced Nurse Manager to join our Renal Medicine Unit team at UCHealth Memorial Hospital Central. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing leadership and oversight to enhance patient safety and optimize quality patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the Nurse Manager in evaluating staff and developing, implementing, and evaluating standards of care for the unit and patient population.
- Actively coach and develop staff, serving as a role model for effective communication skills and problem-solving techniques.
- Collaborate with the CNS/Educator to meet the educational needs of the unit and maintain continuity of care related to specific patient-care requirements.
- Assist with managing resources, including the equitable distribution of work and matching of assigned provider competency to patient needs.
- Work with the Nurse Manager to identify and resolve operational, budgetary, patient, and personnel issues.
- Bachelor's in Nursing.
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- 3 years of experience in related clinical areas.
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date.
