Job Summary

PennState Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Neuro Trauma for a nursing job in New Cumberland, Pennsylvania. This is a full-time opportunity with a 36-hour workweek and 12-hour shifts.

About the Role

The RN inpatient Nurse will assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, and maintain medical records. They will administer nursing care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled patients and advise them on health maintenance and disease prevention.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records
  • Administer medications to patients while monitoring for reactions and side effects
  • Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions
Requirements
  • Currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse by state of employment or holds a multistate RN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact
  • BLS required prior to orientation completion
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
