Job Description

As an Aerospace Painter, you will be responsible for applying primers and topcoats to multiple surface types in accordance with Mil specs. This includes mixing paints per manufacturer's specifications, preparing parts prior to painting, and completing workflow documentation thoroughly. You will also be responsible for inspecting work, cleaning and repairing paint equipment, and touching up parts as needed. Additionally, you will be required to wear proper safety equipment and follow safety procedures at all times. This role requires manual dexterity sufficient to operate small power tools and other equipment, as well as the ability to regularly and frequently lift 50 pounds.

Responsibilities
  • Apply primers and topcoats to multiple surface types in accordance with Mil specs
  • Mix paints per manufacturer's specifications
  • Prepare parts prior to painting, including masking, sanding, and cleaning
  • Complete workflow documentation thoroughly
  • Inspect work
  • Clean and repair paint equipment
  • Touch up parts as needed

  • Operate small power tools and other equipment
  • Lift 50 pounds regularly and frequently
Requirements
