- Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle.
- Collect goods and materials, confirm load accuracy, and deliver as directed.
- Handle loading and unloading of cargo.
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance; follow all safety protocols and company policies consistently.
- Ensure all documentation is completed and accurate.
- Enhance job knowledge through training opportunities, reading industry literature, maintaining professional connections, and engaging in relevant organizations.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Knowledge of traffic laws, DOT regulations, and safe driving practices.
- Experience with pallet jacks is mandatory; forklift experience is advantageous.
- Capability to lift up to 80 pounds repeatedly throughout the day.
- Must pass random drug screenings.
- Maintain a clean driving record.
- No DUI/DWI offenses within the last seven years.
- Strong listening and communication abilities.
- Reliability and dependability.
Education, Experience, and Age Requirements:
- Possession of a CDL – Class A license.
