Medical Assistant or LPN

Franciscan Health is a non-profit healthcare organization with a mission of caring. We are seeking a skilled Medical Assistant or LPN to join our team in a primary care setting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide direct patient care in a variety of outpatient settings, including rooming patients, taking vitals, and administering medications.
• Gather requirements from internal and external customers and provide information via electronic messaging and in person.
• Initiate and follow through on prior authorizations, referrals, and process sample medications, prescriptions, and refills as directed.
Requirements:
• High School Diploma/GED - Required
• Certificate or Associates Degree in Medical Assisting OR Associates in LPN - Required
• 1-year Medical Assisting or LPN experience - Preferred
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA; RMA; NCMA; CCMA) - Required within 6 months of hire OR valid LPN license to practice in the state or as listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) upon hire
