Generations at Rock Island LLC is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at our 5-Star CMS Quality-Rated Facility in Rock Island, IL.
About the Role:We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care and support to our residents. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering and managing individualized patient care through the nursing process, collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary team members, and supervising CNAs to ensure a properly staffed shift.
Responsibilities:- Administer medications and maintain a current report of narcotics received and used
- Monitor infection control and universal precaution practices
- Organize and assign jobs to be completed
- Supervise CNAs and ensure shift is properly staffed
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members
- Responsible for the delivery and management of individualized patient care through the nursing process
- Registered Nurse (RN) Licensed in the State of Illinois
- Previous experience in a nursing home or long-term care facility preferred
- Strong organizational skills, detail oriented
- Exemplary critical thinking capability
- High level of professionalism and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA standards
- Must have compassion, tolerance and understanding of older adults
