We are seeking a skilled Medical Office Registered Nurse to join our care team at ProHealth Physicians. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support our clinical staff in delivering exceptional patient experiences.
Responsibilities- Provide and document patient care, including giving injections and performing preventive screenings
- Act as a member of the care team, preparing patients to be seen by collecting and recording clinical information as per protocol
- Authorize prescription refills and order tests consistent with practice policies and procedures
- Document all patient interactions and other clinical activities accurately and in a timely manner in the electronic health record (EHR)
- Conduct outreach to patients in need of appointments or other services, communicate test results and other information, and follow up after appointments to ensure patients are following their plan of care
- Answer and document patient phone calls; support the Clinical Lead and act as a resource to other clinical staff members
- Maintain open lines of communication with the care team and Regional Management team
- Maintain knowledge of current coding, OSHA, and CLIA regulations and company policies
- Adhere to all patient safety initiatives and infection control regulations
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Intermediate level of computer proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Experience working with an electronic health record (i.e. Epic)
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Experience working in a hospital or medical office
