Job Summary

The Registered Nursing (RN) position at Sentara Health is a critical role that requires a competent level of nursing care. As a Cardiac Surgical Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with cardiac conditions. Responsibilities
  • Assess and diagnose patients with cardiac conditions
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Administer medications and perform medical procedures
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Monitor and maintain accurate patient records
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or Master's degree in Nursing (MSN)
  • Current RN license in Virginia or Compact/Multi-State Eligible
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within 1 year of hire
  • Experience working in a cardiac surgical unit or ICU
