Key Responsibilities:
- Title Management: Oversee the complete process of acquiring and managing vehicle titles for both new and pre-owned vehicles. This involves verifying details, preparing necessary paperwork, and submitting applications to the relevant state authorities.
- Registration Coordination: Facilitate vehicle registration and renewal in compliance with state regulations. Work collaboratively with customers, internal teams, and governmental bodies to ensure the prompt and precise completion of registration tasks.
- Record Keeping: Maintain organized and precise records of all title and registration activities. Ensure that all documents are properly filed and stored to meet legal and regulatory standards.
- Title Investigation: Perform comprehensive research to address any inconsistencies related to vehicle titles. Engage with relevant stakeholders, including previous owners, lienholders, and state agencies, to resolve any issues.
- Client Support: Deliver exceptional customer service by responding to inquiries regarding titles, registrations, and documentation. Assist clients in comprehending the processes and requirements involved.
- Data Management: Accurately enter data into the dealership's systems and software concerning titles, registrations, and other pertinent information.
- Issue Resolution: Identify and address challenges that may arise during the title and registration processes, such as missing documents, incorrect information, or processing delays.
- High school diploma or equivalent (additional education or coursework related to automotive administration is advantageous).
- Prior experience as an Automotive Title Specialist or in a similar administrative capacity within an automotive dealership.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining records.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
- Problem-solving capabilities and the ability to navigate challenging situations professionally.
