About the Hospital:

  • We are a 94-bed community hospital with a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
  • We utilize the E PowerDoc EMR system to ensure efficient and effective patient management.

Coverage Responsibilities:

  • Our Emergency Department covers a wide range of services, including radiology, stroke center, psychiatry, anesthesiology, ultrasound, and OB GYN.
  • We have an 8-bed ICU and a 12-bed Emergency Department with 14,000 annual visits.
  • Our physicians respond to codes and perform procedures as needed.
  • We offer 12-hour shifts (7a-7p, 7p-7a) or 24-hour shifts (7a-7a).

Qualifications:

  • Active Alabama medical license or ability to obtain one.
  • Board certification in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or General Surgery.
  • Current ACLS, ATLS, and PALS certifications.
