Job Summary

We are seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Walmart's Health and Wellness Central Operations in Rogers, AR. As a Certified Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our pharmacy operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain pharmacy systems and technology by preparing records and reports to ensure accurate data and system compliance.
  • Monitor inventory levels and expiration dates for pharmaceuticals, calibrate machines, and apply settings to minimize breakage.
  • Ensure medications are continuously replenished by utilizing the computer and/or scanner screen.
  • Support facility with reporting and paperwork to ensure productivity and pharmaceutical integrity.
  • Promote and maintain the pharmacy's professional reputation by assisting the pharmacist in the prescription fulfillment process.
  • Ensure fulfillment of pharmacy prescriptions in an automated central fill pharmacy to maintain a continuous and consistent work-flow.
  • Maintain quality, accuracy, and integrity of inventory by utilizing automated inventory control scanner and system.

Requirements

  • Meets state requirements to work as a Pharmacy Technician, such as minimum age, qualification, registration, certification, and/or licensure when required by the State Board of Pharmacy.
  • Holds an active/valid national certification certificate issued by PTCB (PTCE) or NHA (ExCPT).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Pharmacy Technician Career Diploma through Live Better U and Penn Foster.
