Work Schedule: Full-Time

Shift: Day - 4 shifts from Monday to Friday

Your Role:

Conduct diagnostic examinations to evaluate cardiac structures and hemodynamics following established protocols as instructed by medical professionals.

Your Contributions to the Team:

  • Prepare and calibrate all cardiac imaging devices and manually position transducers to conduct examinations.
  • Adhere to safety regulations and execute necessary quality control measures.
  • Perform both routine and advanced studies, assisting physicians in various imaging tasks.
  • Identify significant anatomical structures, artifacts, pathologies, and limitations of equipment.

Qualifications

Skills and Experience Required for Success:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory
  • BLS Provider certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) is required prior to employment or transfer.
  • One or more of the following credentials:
  • Cardiac Sonographer certification from the Competency & Credentialing Institute (CCI) required prior to employment or transfer.
  • Registered Cardiac Sonographer certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) required prior to employment or transfer. For new graduates, ARDMS is desired and required after two years of employment. For experienced echo sonographers, ARDMS is mandatory.
  • A minimum of two years of technical experience is preferred.
