Clinical Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Therapist to join our team at a correctional facility in Whiteville, Tennessee.

As a Clinical Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality mental health services to inmates, including psychological screenings, assessments, and treatment plans. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure effective care and support for patients.

The successful candidate will have a Doctoral degree in Psychology and a current, unrestricted license to practice psychology in the state of Tennessee. At least two years of clinical experience is required, with one year in a comparable position. A valid driver's license is also necessary.

• Conduct psychological screenings and assessments based on review of available records and clinical interviews with inmates.
• Develop, implement, and modify individual treatment plans based on evaluation of needs and level of functioning.
• Make regular rounds in segregation or other confined housing areas to assess inmate adjustment and mental health treatment needs.
• Provide appropriate mental health assessments, counseling, and confrontation avoidance interventions to address the needs of inmates in crisis.
