Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate images for diagnostic quality and obtain additional images as needed.
  • Prepare and set up medical supplies using aseptic techniques if appropriate.
  • Explain procedures to patients and provide excellent patient care.
  • Print film or burn CDs if warranted and match with the appropriate paperwork for interpretation.
  • Perform other related duties incidental to the work.

Requirements:

  • NYS Licensed Mammography Tech
  • ARRT (M) Certification & Card
  • Familiarity with MQSA, QC, and Diagnostic imaging protocols
  • Knowledgeable in Digital Breast Tomosynthesis (a plus)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience
