Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Preschool Paraprofessional to join our team at Galt Joint Union Elementary. The successful candidate will assist a Preschool Teacher in creating an effective learning environment for young children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Preschool Teacher in instructional activities, supervision, and training of children
  • Assist in maintaining a safe and organized learning environment
  • Help with lesson planning and implementation
  • Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff
Requirements
  • Valid Child Development Associate Teacher Permit (issued by CTC)
  • Letter of Interest (specific to this position)
  • Resume

Please note that all applicants must pass the District's Instructional Assistant written exam. A copy of your degree must be attached to your online application to waive the test. Current instructional assistants do not need to re-take the test.
