We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced PET/CT Technologist to join our team at Sutter Delta Medical Center. As a PET/CT Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Patient Safety and Care: Ensure patient safety and comfort during PET/CT procedures, including pre-screening for contraindications and proper documentation.
- Diagnostic Imaging: Produce high-quality diagnostic images using PET/CT scanners, ensuring accurate and reliable results.
- Communication and Collaboration: Effectively communicate with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care and treatment.
- Equipment Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and maintain PET/CT scanners and peripheral equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime.
- Education and Certification: High School Diploma or Associate's Degree, and certification in Nuclear Medicine by the NMTCB or ARRT (N) required.
- Experience: 1-2 years of PET imaging experience or 1-2 years' experience in Nuclear Medicine procedures and studies preferred.
- Skills and Abilities: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in using PET/CT scanners and related equipment.
- Competitive Compensation: Weekly pay range of $2805 to $3117.
