About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Geotechnical Project Manager to join our team at ECS Ltd. As a key member of our geotechnical services team, you will be responsible for managing projects related to geotechnical reports, construction materials testing, and proposal preparation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the preparation of geotechnical reports, including analysis and recommendations, to meet project deadlines.
  • Oversee construction materials testing (CMT) projects, including daily report review, issue resolution, and training of field staff.
  • Prepare geotechnical and CMT proposals, manage project budgets, and prepare change orders and invoices.
  • Host or attend project meetings with clients to discuss delivered reports and provide technical solutions as needed.
  • Assist with or perform tasks such as preparing drilling packages, obtaining utility clearances, performing research on local geologic history, supervising field work, classifying soil, and mentoring staff.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, Geology, or a related field.
  • PDA Certification required, with PDCA Intermediate or equivalent/better.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience operating PDA equipment and software, including GRL Weap and CAPWAP.
  • Preferred experience with deep foundation design, testing, and inspection, as well as issuing driven pile recommendations.
  • FDOT project experience preferred.
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) or Professional Geologist (P.G.) preferred.
