About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Quality Assurance Technician in Chicago, IL. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the quality and safety of our products by conducting regular inspections and monitoring production processes. You will also collaborate with our clients to develop and implement quality management systems that meet industry standards.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with company and customer specifications.
  • Develop and implement corrective actions to address quality-related issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality-related issues.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.


Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or related field.
  • Minimum 1-2 years' experience in food processing industry, preferably meat processing.
  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP).
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
