We are seeking an experienced Automation Technician to join our team at Amazon Stores in Bristol, IN. As an Automation Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining and repairing material handling equipment and pneumatic systems within our operations facility.

You will be responsible for troubleshooting complex issues, installing new equipment, and mentoring junior technicians to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.
Responsibilities- Maintain and repair material handling equipment and pneumatic systems to ensure optimal performance
- Troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical issues related to material handling equipment
- Install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment
- Mentor junior technicians to grow in their roles
- Collaborate with the Operations Maintenance team to ensure seamless facility operations
- 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
- Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
- 2+ years of experience conducting quality predictive and preventative maintenance procedures
- 2+ years of experience in the repair of material handling equipment (MHE), automated conveyor systems, or related mechanical/controls equipment
- Able to troubleshoot basic input and output functions of building operations
- Experience with MHE safety standards in accordance with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and Safety standards
- Associates or higher degree from a vocational school or college with a focus in the Mechanical or Electrical field
- 2+ years apprenticeship or equivalent experience in the Mechanical or Electrical field
- 2+ year of knowledge with electrical and electronic principles
- Experience with robotic operation and maintenance
- An estimated salary of $60,000 - $80,000 per year

Shift Options- Front Half Day Shift: Sunday to Wednesday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- Back Half Day Shift: Wednesday to Saturday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- Front Half Night Shift: Sunday to Wednesday, 7:00 PM to 5:30 AM
- Back Half Night Shift: Wednesday to Saturday, 7:00 PM to 5:30 AM
