SUMMARY
In this role, you will provide the expertise and knowledge necessary to support the college's curriculum and programs. You will develop courses in alignment with established higher education standards, employ diverse teaching methodologies, and facilitate activities that promote student engagement and learning. The responsibilities of the Instructional Faculty include teaching, academic advising, professional development, and contributing to institutional and community service.

EDUCATION
A high school diploma or GED is required; an AAS or Bachelor's Degree is preferred.

EXPERIENCE
A minimum of 36 months of relevant work experience is required.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Proficient in repairing, maintaining, and operating various machines and tools.
- Capable of climbing ladders to access materials and supplies.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Experience working in a diverse environment.
- Willingness to teach classes during the day, evening, or on weekends at multiple locations.
- Proficient in various computer applications and software.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse population of professionals, community members, and students.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Sensitivity to the needs of students from diverse academic, socio-economic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds, including those with disabilities.
- Proven ability to inspire and motivate students in a learning-centered environment.
- Self-disciplined with effective management skills.
