We are on the lookout for a Laboratory Technician to become a vital part of our team. The Laboratory Technician will undertake the responsibility of evaluating gelatin, gelatin hydrolysates, and related by-products within our Chemistry and Microbiology Laboratories. This position encompasses a range of duties aimed at ensuring precise testing and the upkeep of laboratory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare samples for analysis while adhering to sterile protocols.
  • Execute routine examinations following established procedures.
  • Assist in non-standard testing as necessary.
  • Coordinate sample evaluations with external testing facilities.
  • Ensure cleanliness and proper calibration of laboratory instruments.
  • Prepare necessary standards and reagents for testing purposes.
  • Accurately document data in laboratory worksheets and databases.
  • Collaborate with fellow technicians and contribute to project initiatives.
  • Support the onboarding process for new employees as required.

Qualifications:

This position necessitates a minimum of 2 years of laboratory experience or an associate degree in a relevant discipline such as chemistry, biology, microbiology, or food science.
