About the Position

We are seeking a dedicated Social Work Professional to join our team as a Child Services Specialist. This is a full-time or part-time opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students in the Wilkes-Barre, PA area.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will possess a Master's degree in Social Work and be licensed as an LSW or LCSW. With a minimum of 1+ years of social work experience, this professional will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing supervision to Behavioral Health Technicians.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver individual, group, and family counseling services to students, as well as case management support.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless support for students.
  • Develop and implement safety and crisis plans to ensure a safe and supportive learning environment.
  • Document all interactions, assessments, and treatment plans in a timely and accurate manner.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Social Work.
  • LSW or LCSW licensure.
  • Minimum 1+ years of social work experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
