Senior Financial Program Analyst

Job Overview:
The selected candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial objectives and forecasts for various programs. This includes conducting quarterly contract status reviews (CSRs) and developing precise estimates to complete (ETCs) alongside variance analysis. The individual will evaluate the financial performance of programs and offer insights and recommendations to enhance performance and align with financial CSR and long-range plan (LRP) goals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with multiple functional divisions to foster discussions and provide finance-related recommendations that support program and corporate financial objectives.
2. Handle ad hoc requests and assist with contract closeouts as necessary.
Essential Qualifications:
- Proven ability to engage with senior personnel within the organization.
- Advanced skills in MS Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Capability to work autonomously and adhere to strict deadlines.
- Self-motivated individual eager to learn and ask questions.
- Strong relationship-building skills to gather data, conduct analysis, and deliver recommendations with minimal supervision.
- Effective communication skills to facilitate discussions in meetings.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with the CSR process.
- In-depth knowledge of EFS System and Model Data Reporting (MDR).
- Previous experience with Tactical Missiles Production Program.
- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, including the development and use of pivot tables and other advanced functionalities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to drive results with a proactive, structured approach to problem-solving and attention to detail.
- Understanding of Earned Value Management (EVMS) procedures and policies.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience, with a minimum of 6 years of professional experience, or 4 years with a related Master’s degree.
Security Clearance Requirement:
This position necessitates a government security clearance; candidates must be U.S. citizens for consideration.
Work Environment:
The selected employee will have a hybrid work schedule, splitting time between remote work and designated facilities.
