Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Cashier and Sales Floor Team Member. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, operating a cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, greet and assist customers, and help them understand store shopping policies and procedures.
  • Cash Handling: Efficiently operate a cash register and scanner to itemize and total customer purchases, collect payment from customers, and make change.
  • Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including stocking and merchandising, visual displays, and cleaning the store, taking out trash, dusting, and mopping floors.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience: Previous retail experience preferred.
  • Skills: Effective interpersonal and oral communication skills, understanding of safety policies and practices, and basic mathematical skills.
Working Conditions
  • Standing: Standing for long periods of time.
  • Frequent Bending: Frequent bending, stooping, and kneeling at checkout stations, merchandise goods, and cleaning.
  • Ability to Lift: Ability to scan, handle, and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including frequently lifting and moving merchandise up to 30 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
