We are seeking a skilled Speech Therapist to join our team at Avante at Ocala, a skilled nursing facility with a positive community reputation and a history of successful outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide and direct Speech-Language Pathologist services to residents, including assessment, treatment, program planning, and implementation.
  • Conduct screenings of residents at regular intervals to determine the need for intervention/treatment.
  • Evaluate residents to obtain data necessary for treatment planning and implementation.
  • Develop and implement home or community programming to maintain and enhance the performance of residents in their own environment.
  • Assist with and participate in Continuous Quality Improvement program as directed.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and provide excellent customer service.
