About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Systems Administrator to join our team at Visual Sound. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance for our company-wide network.

Key Responsibilities

Troubleshooting and Maintenance
• Troubleshoot and maintain hardware and software on networked workstations, printers, and smartphones.
• Resolve issues quickly and efficiently.

Desktop Support
• Provide day-to-day support of desktop PC software applications.
• Log service requests as open tickets, maintain status, and provide follow-up both to end users and to members of the MSP team.

Inventory and Maintenance
• Inventory and maintain IT equipment (Desktops, laptops, printers, monitors, tablets, and smartphones).
• Perform preventative maintenance on computer equipment.

Professional Development
• Stay current with system information, changes, and updates.
• Develop and follow standard help desk procedures.

Collaboration and Communication
• Serve as the initial escalation point for issues with the MSP team.
• Willing to work overtime when necessary.

Requirements

Education and Experience
• Associate or Bachelor Degree in Technology related field (desirable) or 3-5 years of related work experience.

Technical Skills
• Familiarity with Help Desk practices (ticket systems, team environment, etc.).
• Experience with remote troubleshooting.
• Experience with VPN.
• Knowledge in Microsoft Exchange, Office 365, & Active Directory Users and Computers, Microsoft Entra/Azure.
• Advanced MS Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook) skills.
• Working knowledge of Windows 10 & 11.
• Working knowledge of multi-function printers (HP, Canon, Ricoh, Brother).
• Good working knowledge of networking.
• Good working knowledge in Telecom and VoIP technology (Call Tower).
