Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Certified Medication Technician to join our team at Remington Heights Retirement Community. As a Medication Administration Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Follow all policies and procedures for medication administration, ordering, and delivery
  • Immediately report medication errors or missing medications
  • Provide quality care to residents as indicated on the care plan
  • Promote resident independence in accordance with the service plan
  • Comply with all infection control guidelines
  • Ensure proper transfer of medication cart between shifts, including narcotic count
  • Document medication administration in the electronic health record per policy
  • Participate in community activities and encourage residents to attend
  • Demonstrate patience, compassion, and integrity with residents

Requirements:

  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Must have current Med Tech or QMAP certification
  • One year of experience in senior services preferred
  • Must have CPR certification upon hire or obtain within 90 days of hire
