Job Summary

Crothall Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled Imaging Specialist II to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare support services team, you will be responsible for performing planned preventive maintenance, calibrations, and electrical safety inspections on imaging and related equipment. Your expertise will ensure compliance with established standards and provide exceptional support to our healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on imaging equipment, including calibrations and electrical safety inspections.
  • Assist with diagnostic imaging cross-training of BMET technicians to ensure seamless support.
  • Collaborate with manufacturers' representatives and equipment operators to resolve equipment-related issues.
  • Provide emergency on-call support to ensure timely resolution of equipment issues.
  • Research and initiate orders for repair parts, working within established budget parameters.
  • Conduct quality assurance records and reports to ensure compliance with specifications and policies.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate's degree in Electronics/Imaging Technology, Biomedical Equipment Technology, or military training.
  • At least five years of experience with various imaging equipment manufacturers or other relevant experience.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in the repair of radiology equipment and prior biomedical experience.
  • Specialized knowledge in several modalities, such as radiology, MRI, nuclear medicine, ultrasound, CT, cath. lab., linear accelerators, etc.
  • Prefer certification (CRES) in these different modalities.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability and willingness to serve on-call duty as required.
