Position Overview

The Manufacturing Operations Leader is responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and managing operations to meet established objectives. This role ensures that operational staff adhere to company policies and procedures while providing leadership to resolve issues that enhance performance and foster positive working relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee capacity and production planning processes to guarantee timely delivery to clients.
  • Set clear expectations, accountability, and guidance for direct reports.
  • Lead operational functions to ensure daily performance and promote continuous improvement.
  • Ensure that operational staff are well-trained and consistently follow policies, procedures, work instructions, and manufacturing processes.

  • Enhance current manufacturing methodologies while adhering to budget constraints.

  • Lead problem-solving initiatives and continuous improvement efforts to boost operational performance.
  • Promote safety initiatives within operational functions to ensure employee well-being.

Required Competencies

Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to use hands for tasks such as handling or feeling; reach with hands and arms; and communicate verbally. The employee frequently sits, stands, and walks, and occasionally stoops, kneels, crouches, or crawls. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
