Computed Tomography Technologist Job Description

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team for a 13-week assignment in Portales, NM.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Computed Tomography Technologist to work in a dynamic healthcare environment. As a Computed Tomography Technologist, you will be responsible for operating CT scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.

Responsibilities
  • Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
  • Prepare patients for CT scans, including positioning and instructing them on the scanning process
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
  • Maintain accurate records of patient information, including medical history and scan results
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest CT scanning technologies and techniques
Requirements
  • One to three years of experience as a Computed Tomography Technologist
  • Current licensure and certification in Computed Tomography
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
