Hospitality Ambassador

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Hospitality Ambassador to join our team at Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady Health System. As a key member of our guest services team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients, guests, and team members.

• Customer Service
  • Exhibit a warm and welcoming demeanor to all guests, ensuring a positive first impression.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members, facilitating clear and concise information exchange.
  • Utilize technology and resources to provide accurate and timely information to guests, including patient locations, meeting information, and office locations.
  • Answer phone calls in a prompt, positive, and helpful manner, consistently demonstrating excellent communication skills.
  • Provide wayfinding services, escorting guests to destinations as needed, and promoting good customer service by anticipating and meeting their needs.
  • Act as a resource for patients, guests, physicians, and team members, providing information on local amenities, services, and events while recommending on-campus services first.
  • Respond appropriately to urgent situations, such as codes, and communicate effectively with leaders and resources.
  • Identify service recovery situations and provide solutions to ensure a positive guest experience.
  • Complete zone rounding for cleanliness and receive, label, and deliver mail, flowers, and packages to patients promptly.
• Administrative and Special Projects
  • Set up, stock, maintain, and complete daily closing duties for assigned areas, reporting maintenance and housekeeping needs for timely completion.
  • Maintain accurate contact information for hospital personnel, departments, and local resources.
  • Participate in continuous improvement of services and offerings through pilot programs, approved educational/skill-building programs, and department meetings.
• Other Duties
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

• Two to three years of experience in hospitality or customer service, preferably in a healthcare environment.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
