Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Childcare Worker to join our team at All of God's Children Group STRTP. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and supportive environment for emotionally disturbed children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in supervising the conduct and behavior of children, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Process new arrivals, providing a smooth transition into our program.
  • Implement constructive activities and imposed restrictions as necessary, promoting a positive and respectful environment.
  • Perform office work, including daily reports, and assist with cooking, housecleaning, and laundry.
  • Transport children safely and efficiently, using a 14-passenger van.
  • Assist with visitation monitoring, dressing, grooming, and hygiene, as well as tutoring and moving furniture up to 25lbs.
Requirements
  • Must be patient and understanding of the challenging behaviors of emotionally disturbed children.
  • Must be mentally capable to self-regulate and have the physical ability and energy level to keep up with children.
  • Must remain awake and alert at all times, even during overnight shifts.
