About the Role:
Twin Cities Orthopedics is seeking a highly skilled Athletic Trainer to cover local sporting events on a part-time basis. This role offers flexibility with evenings and weekends preferred.
The ideal candidate will be certified as an athletic trainer by the Board of Certification (BOC) and possess strong communication skills for effective injury documentation and communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide athletic training services at contracted high schools and colleges as needed, covering events signed up for and facilitated by Twin Cities Orthopedics Sports Medicine Outreach Coordinator.
- Document and communicate injuries to appropriate staff members in a timely manner.
- Ensure event coverage meets expectations, potentially ranging from 0-20 hours per week.
- Maintain evening and weekend availability, considering travel and other commitments.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Certification as an athletic trainer by the Board of Certification (BOC).
- Membership in the National Athletic Trainers Association.
- Licensure in the State of Minnesota or eligibility for licensure as an Athletic Trainer.
- Current Emergency Cardiac Care (CPR/AED) certification.

Compensation: $40,000-$60,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. This estimate includes base salary and potential additional benefits. We offer competitive compensation packages and opportunities for professional growth.
