Responsibilities- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques and policies.
- Document patient information accurately and thoroughly.
- Develop and implement individualized patient plans of care, collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals as needed.
- Participate in departmental performance improvement activities and contribute to shared governance initiatives.
- Utilize clinical expertise to support other units and departments in delivering patient-centered care.
- Escalate patient safety concerns and patient experience issues to the appropriate chain of command.
- Participate in peer review and professional development activities to enhance nursing practice.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- BSN or agreement to complete a BSN completion program within a specified timeframe.
- Licensed as an RN in the state of practice.
- Approved CPR certification and other certifications as required by the unit.
- 10 hours of continuing education.
The physical demands of this role include standing, walking, and lifting up to 25 pounds regularly, and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
