Job Title: Neurodivergent Life Coach

Leaps Services LLC is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Neurodivergent Life Coach to join our team. As a Neurodivergent Life Coach, you will play a vital role in providing guidance and mentorship to neurodivergent young adults, helping them achieve their goals and improve their overall well-being.

Job Summary

The Neurodivergent Life Coach will work closely with clients to identify their strengths, needs, and challenges, and develop personalized support plans to help them reach their full potential. This role requires a deep understanding of neurodivergent individuals and their unique needs, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build strong relationships with neurodivergent clients and their families, providing a safe and supportive environment for growth and development.
  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify clients' strengths, needs, and challenges, and develop tailored support plans to address these areas.
  • Provide ongoing guidance and mentorship to clients, helping them set and achieve their goals, and develop the skills and strategies needed to succeed in daily life.
  • Collaborate with other service providers, including healthcare professionals and community organizations, to ensure coordinated and effective services for clients.
  • Document clients' progress, goals, and services provided, in compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices and emerging trends in life skills training and disability services, and apply this knowledge to improve services for clients.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as psychology, social work, or special education.
  • 2-4 years of experience working with neurodivergent individuals, preferably in a behavior management program.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain First Aid and CPR certifications.
  • Proficiency in Person-Centered Programming approach to create purposeful and meaningful activities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, families, and other service providers.
  • Ability to pass a post-offer physical examination and a TB test.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a criminal record/fingerprint clearance from the Department of Justice and Federal Bureau of Investigation.
  • Personal vehicle to transport clients locally, with a minimum of 3 years' driving experience.
